Tamworth Regional Council has chosen a shortlist of six selected tenderers for the detailed design and documentation of the Split Rock Dam to Barraba Pipeline.
The shortlisted firms will soon receive invitations to tender for the pipeline design consultancy services. A preferred tenderer will be decided in April.
At the beginning of March, Tamworth firm Brown & Krippner Pty Ltd started work on the detailed survey of the proposed pipeline route.
The pipeline project is being funded by Tamworth Regional Council along with the State and Federal governments. It is expected to be completed in May 2014.
The Pipeline is always on the Agenda at the CDC meetings, which are helt on the first Monday of each month, 6pm, in the Council Chambers on Alice Street.
